I'm very excited to share this engagement session with you guys. I first met Lysa and Trevor back when I did a creative session with them (which you can see here). They were so sweet and so easy to work with! I was thrilled when they asked me to be their photographer for their wedding this September. They decided to wait for a spring blossom engagement session, which we ended up booking pretty last minute to get the blossoms at their best. This session was amazing and afterward I felt full of energy, like I could run a marathon ;). I feel like it got all my creative juices flowing again. Lately I was finding myself struggling with the feelings that my work isn't enough, not different enough, and doesn't stand out. I was questioning who I am as an artist and what my brand is, but this session helped that. It pushed me and gave me an opportunity for growth, not to mention we had a blast. Adding in the fact there were 20 other photographers there I thought I would be nervous, but I couldn't have been more relaxed. This is why I am a photographer - capturing the moments you create; hoping you can hold on to them for a lifetime.
